Dr Clinton White

I am Dr. Clinton White, a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist with a passion for improving mental health outcomes through evidence-based practice. I hold an MBBS from the University of Tasmania and am a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). With over a decade of experience, I specialize in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and Emergency Psychiatry, working as a Staff Specialist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, where I also contribute to the Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC).

My expertise lies in assessing and managing a range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD, for adults aged 18 to 65. I focus on delivering comprehensive psychiatric care, prioritizing medical assessment and management over psychotherapy. In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to education, teaching medical students at The University of New South Wales and The University of Notre Dame, and providing supervision in psychiatry.

In my private practice at Eastern Suburbs Psychiatry, I offer consultations on Wednesdays and Thursdays, ensuring accessible and tailored care for my patients. I am also a published researcher, with contributions to a 2020 Cochrane review on corticosteroid therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, reflecting my interest in the intersection of medical and psychiatric care. My approach is patient-centered, collaborative, and grounded in the latest clinical evidence.
